Chattanooga Mapped.

Maps this city owns together.

Living maps for Chattanooga. Public data, a community input layer, and an open feed out. Not a snapshot someone took once. Something the neighborhood keeps alive.

What this is

I've organized in this city for over fifteen years. Food justice, mutual aid, the slow work of neighbors taking care of neighbors. The hardest part was never the caring. It was keeping track: what's where, what's working, what ran out an hour ago.

Chattanooga Mapped is leverage on that labor. A way to manage our needs together that doesn't run on any one person's shoulders. Each map starts with public information and then hands the marker back to the people who actually use it.

Every map here is the same primitive: public data + a community input layer (status, comments, photos) + an open feed out. The data stays the community's. The map stays alive because the community keeps it alive.

The maps

There's a map this city needs.

Know one? Tell me what it is and who it's for. The good ones get built.
